Shalom Community Impact Center focuses on uplifting and supporting refugees and immigrants with several SCIC programs to remove barriers and with accessing existing community services. To help meet this goal, SCIC can provide refugees and immigrants with linguistic and culturally-relevant support to help them navigate health care, education, immigration services, and other systems of support. By appointment, we can provide interpretation and translation including verbal interpretation and help reading and editing letters and important documents. Please note: we cannot and do not provide legal advice when helping to read legal documents. If you need legal advice, we are happy to refer you to low-cost or no-cost community legal resources.
